I suppose that 'the Devil's Answer' is good to classified as a 'Studio Album' and not as compilation because the sound is similar, too similar, in all songs and except for 'Devil's Answer' that is a live recording the songs are from some demo recordings (but with great quality... Not recordings because... Live in studio Said this the songs...

The first two records from AR were rather exhilarating but when I listen to the opener Breakthrough, these bluesy sounds cool me off radically (Black Snake not being my cup of tea either; for the same reason And this aspect is too dominant during In Hearing Of Atomic Rooster. Some old f%µers (hope you got it) as I am, do feel some positive feelings in reviewing such an album from AR. Not because it is a masterpiece, no. Maybe because it is more of an album of certain era. The genuine and very early seventies. The best years of my musical life ... (well almost The great psychedelia of their debut is still to be...

Live And Raw was released in 2000 by the Angel Air label and presents two BBC sessions 1970 &71 introduced by John Peel.
