...Hackett became the first Genesis member to release a solo album. Although Anthony Phillips left Genesis in 1970, he did not release his first album until 1977, the same year Peter Gabriel released his debut solo album. Of course later on, Mike Rutherford, Tony Banks, and Phil Collins would all release solo albums. At the moment, I can't think...

...Hacketts solo career. The set list showcases all the different aspects of his entire career from his Genesis days till the present The very 21th Century Schizoid Man- like The Mechanical Bride opens the show with a bang (The Floating Seventh is not really a song in its own right). ...Hackett left the band. In a way, it is true. Only partially . What died with Hacketts departure was symphonic -GENESIS, and the band still had a few good albums up their sleeves (especially the trios first). But something good came out of all of that. ...Hackett, 1978 StarStarStarStarStar Four years after his promising debut solo album Voyage Of The Acolyte, the legendary Steve Hackett seems to have really found his own style and variation on the very English feel of Gabriel/Hackett-era Genesis. The ties to Genesis are much reduced from Voyage, and the incredibly English, folky vocals may...

...Hackett solo album of the 70s. Hacketts debut album, Voyage Of An Acolyte, is far from being the masterpiece it is often said to be. And the title of his second album was Please Dont Touch, and that should be taken literally dont touch it Spectral Mornings fares much better by comparison. In my opinion it was with this third album that Steve...

...Hacketts early albums, especially Please Dont Touch and Voyage Of An Acolyte. These albums were in my opinion inconsistent and uneven due to utilizing too many different vocalists, some of which were totally wrong for Hacketts music, and also displaying too many different styles, only some of which really fitted with the rest of Hacketts...
