...Everon's album is here! And it's just another masterpiece of prog music But the first thing I have to say is... Everon are not Neo-Progressive!!!!!!! I think they have nothing to do with this style of music. Maybe their first two albums were a bit influenced by neo-prog in the sound of keyboards. But the rest of their discography is really...

...Everon you won't be able to know why they are so unknown, even in the prog world. Everon is not only a typical progressive band. It's impossible to tell which is their style: sometimes it's neoprog, but then you can hear a lot of classical progressive rock influences with plenty of heavy metal riffs. The best part of this, is that Everon is...

...Everon indeed sounds like no other. Their music is familiar, yet you cant really pigeonhole it. There are some obvious influences here and there (like Rush and Marillion, to name just two). Although labeled as neo prog in PA, Ive always heard other sites and magazines to call them prog metal. To me they both missed the point. Maybe art rock...

...Everon album I said that the reviews of this bands albums could be quite short because there is a very obvious Everonsound that shines through on all of their albums. And it's more a matter of like it or not that will determine ones rating more or less. Maybe that's the case with more bands but I feel it's very much a feature of Everons...

Everon is kind of a mistery to me. I cant really tell why (hence the mistery?). Their musicanship is obviously enormous, as it is the talent of their singer/guitarrist/keyboardsman/songwriter Oliver Philips. Acutually this is the kind of guy you can call genius: he is obviously too much an original talent to be ignored, even if you dont like his...

...Everon, and again a good one all the way - entitled fantasma from 2000. I always like this band and their heavy prog combined with symphonic elements. I guess the main reason I like so much this band is because of the voice of Oliver Philips, excellent vocalist who really knows to sing at the highest level any time the usic needs him, but...

...Everon have achieved high standards for most of this decade, everything they have released has been at least very good to excellent so if that's my point of view of the past then it comes as no surprise that the new CD North I believe is perhaps their crowning glory. Do not confuse Everon as a Neo Prog Band or think of them as Prog Metal even...

...Everon. I emphasised that they are a German band for a reason which Ill get back to later The music that Everon plays is a mix of neo prog and soft progressive heavy metal. I think there are many great moments on this album when it comes to the compositions and equally when it comes to the playing which is above average for conventional neo...

EVERON - Flood (1995) [rated 3/5 by progrules]

...Everon releases and it took a while before I decided to buy the others as well. And that's because I'm not a straightforward Everonfan but I do like their music, I think it's more than bearable: it's good/very good And that goes for all their releases, there are just minor differences between them. The advantage of that is: you know what you...
