Sonic Portrait Showcase Venue, a premier music venue in Morris, Illinois, a Southwestern Chicago Suburb, is seeking bands for all nights. There are 60-80 slots available each month, and set lengths will be 30-45 minutes. A local draw is not necessary to be booked, but is preferable. Selected artists will be compensated for their performances.

Sonic Portrait will contact artists for booking preferably one month prior to the date of the show. There is a limited backline at the venue (the first 3 bands each night) - a pro sound system, including vocal mics, monitors and a sound engineer is on staff. They are known for their sound.

Genres accepted include rock, alternative, acoustic rock, pop, punk, etc.

Past performers include Karate High School, American Diary, River City Rebels, Brokencyde, Streamline, Dang We're On Fire, Veara, A Rocket To The Moon, Brighten, Can You Keep A Secret, Fight! Fight! Fight!, and many more.
