Paul’s love for music started from a very young age. He took classical piano lessons as a child and was also exposed to several musical influences while growing up. Bands such as Electric Light Orchestra, Depeche Mode and New Order influenced his
very keen and absorbing ear and still remain some of his biggest influences to this day.
Paul’s love for underground dance music started with recording the weekly radio one essential mixes aired by Derek the Bandit on his Saturday night shows. These cassettes would prove to be the most invaluable contribution to Paul’s constantly evolving ear and love for the style that was termed progressive house.

The breadth of music captured in these essential mixes helped Paul appreciate a wide selection of genres. He developed a love for house, breaks, drum&bass, techno and minimal to name bit a few.

Paul’s decision to take up vinyl and turntables was due to the fact that the type of music he loved was not being played at the venues or clubs that he frequented. Paul made it his own personal mission to educate and innovate as much as possible. He entered the second Lecktrodecktus bedroom DJ competition after only playing for 9 monthes and stormed his way to a final placing of 4th overall. This was a great achievement for someone playing a new and fresh style. He has played guest spots at 96, Submission, Club Celcius, Black Orchid and Time Out Lounge and was also a regular guest at DJ Lounge for the infamous Saturday Sessions.

Paul continues to try and push the boundaries by accepting playing time for open minded people wherever he can. His move to London has opened up a whole new playing field which he now wishes to exploit and help push his sound forwards.

This mix marks Paul’s comeback after a long absence from the scene. After his immigration to London a year ago he has finally released a brand new mix for you all to enjoy. Expect all the usual sounds as well as some new influences picked up from his last year in London. Enjoy
