After graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Marc Macisso headed to L.A. to break into the recording industry. The past few decades Marc’s sax, flute and harmonica has complimented many commercials, television shows, movies and albums.
He performed on albums by Bette Midler, Jessie Colin Young, Michael Bolton and “Year of the Cat” Al Stewart. He’s appeared live with Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Stevie Winwood, Carol King, Chaka Kahn, Tito Puente, Billy Preston, Peter White, Sheena Easton, Michael McDonald, Dave Koz, The Rippingtons, Dionne Warwick and the Doobie Brothers to name a few. Marc’s soulful soloing is currently featured on Discovery Channel’s “American Casino”. He also is playing sax on singer songwriter Jude Johnston’s soon to be released album called “On a Good Day”. Also appearing on Jude’s album with Marc are Bonnie Raitt, Rodney Crowell and Jackson Browne.
