Hard Rock Cafe - Memphis, TN
Hard Rock Cafe Memphis is now accepting submissions from artists interested in playing their unique venue, which has served as both a recording studio and a saloon. They are looking to actively expand their live performance schedule. Opened on November 16, 1997, they are located on historic Beale Street in downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
Hard Rock Cafe Memphis books artists at least 4 months in advance. For private events and Hard Rock corporate events, there is an outright purchase and guarantee. For general performances, tickets are sold at $5 each; $150 goes to the sound engineer, and the evening's performers would keep anything after that. The typical set length is about 45 minutes.
There is a full backline at the venue, including a Slingerland Metro drum kit (please bring cymbals and a snare), a Zakk Wylde Les Paul Custom, and a Gibson SG Supreme Bass. The live space can hold anywhere from 350-470, depending on the seating arrangement. A local draw is also strongly preferred, but is not necessarily required.
Past performers at Hard Rock Cafe Memphis include Sister Hazel, Three Six Mafia, and Toby Lightman. Some of their famous memorabilia includes items from Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Isaac Hayes, and Bob Dylan among others.
The first Hard Rock Cafe opened its doors to the public on June 14, 1971, in London, England. With 138 venues in 42 countries, Hard Rock has become a truly global phenomenon.
