Fulfilling my duty as “the Swedish one” of the site, I bring you some (i.e. the ones that I somewhat care about) of the winners at last night’s Swedish Grammy awards:

Best live act: The Hives
MP3: “Tick, Tick, Boom”

Best dance/hiphop/soul act: Adam Tensta
MP3: “My Cool”

Best new act: Salem Al Fakir (also won best male act, best composer, and best producer - Fakir was the biggest winner of the show)
MP3: “It’s True”

Best group: Kent (also won best album)
MP3: “Generation X”

Best female act: Säkert! (a.k.a. Annika Norlin, from Hello Saferide. Also won for best songwriter)
MP3: “Vi Kommer Att Dö Samtidigt”

Sahara Hotnights were nominated for three awards, but walked away empty-handed. Booo!
