Well, here’s a refreshing change, a young man originating from my hometown of Maidstone in England.
Matt Cox, is a 21 year old DJ/ Producer born and raised in Southern England. Starting out his career as a DJ at a club called The Source Bar in Maidstone, Matt Cox has furthered his career gaining support from the likes of Jack Beats, Rico Tubbs and Bass Kleph to name a few. Also recently doing gigs at SEOne club in London and Mint in Leeds.
Below, I have an exclusive interview with Mr Cox himself, and 4 exclusive remixes just for us. 
Hey, who are you and what would your mother have to say about you?
Yoyoyo, im Matt Cox and I make really horrible bass sounds. My mum would say im deaf and probably need to get my ears tested!
Why did you choose to get into music?
I have been listening to house music since I was 14, and I love it. That is all.
Who are your inspirations?
Craig Bennet (Benitez) and Rob Cockerton

What project are you most proud of?
A few really, I have a remix out on Vacation amongst loads of remixes and originals signed to Roostar and Electric Kink Records coming out sooonish! I have a new original coming out on new hope records in a month or so called ‘Jumpin’, defo one of my best to date.
Who is your personal superhero?
Ace Ventura
Would you rather have a limb cut off or never be able to make music again?
Limb defiantly… I could deal with a stub
How do you work?
With shod loads of fags (cigarettes!) and Lucozade, best combination. Late nights, early mornings and insomnia always helps out.
What’s the worst music video you have ever seen?
Blackout crew – Put a Donk on it. It makes me cringe!
What is your current ringtone?
Douster – This Sh*t (2 Bit Thugs remix) big up the thugs!
Is your music going to change the world?
Change? I think destroy is a better word to describe it!
