In the latest Wow-I-Didn’t-Ever-Consider-That-These-Two-Names-Would-Ever-Be-Associated news, the Midnight Juggernauts will be receiving remix favors from the one, the only, Grandmaster Flash.

Yes you read that right. On August 12th, the amazing Aussie trio will be releasing the Into The Galaxy EP. The EP features remixes by the aforementioned hip-hop great Grandmaster Flash; the UK’s Metronomy; French duo Yuksek & Brodinski; fellow Aussie ensemble Architecture in Helsinki; Parisian outfit Chateau Marmont and New York’s Shychild. Phew. Obviously I’m pretty intrigued by the prospect of a Grandmaster Flash remix of the Juggernauts, as the very suggestion of this union causes my soul to resonate with unbridled joy. Hey, it’s the little things in life that make me happy, okay?

In addition to the new EP, the band will also be returning for a brief series of shows here in the U.S.A. (how fantastic is that SF date with Juan Maclean and Digitalism??) and have offered up a new video for the single itself created by none other than Surface 2 Air (Justice vs. Simian, Chromeo and Black Kids).
